Overview

Some music doesn't just play in the background — it defines a moment, a memory, and sometimes an entire generation. The Charlotte Concert Band presents an afternoon celebrating the most iconic film and television music ever written, from sweeping cinematic masterworks to the irresistible rhythms of classic American pop culture. From the first note to the last, this is an afternoon that will transport you through decades of music that has shaped all of our lives. 

This concert features our annual Musician for a Lifetime Program, showcasing top middle school musicians from North Carolina's South Central District All-District Band.
